Prof. Yuanchang Zhong, Chongqing University, China

Yuanchang Zhong, doctor, professor and doctoral supervisor. He has served as the deputy director of "Chongqing University Electronic Technology Basic Teaching Experimental Center" and the deputy director of "Chongqing University Institute of Space Electronic Information Technology". At present, he is the lecturer of "National Electrical and Electronic Technology Teaching Team of Chongqing University" and the backbone expert of wireless energy transmission team of School of Electrical Engineering of Chongqing University/State Key Laboratory of Power Transmission and Distribution Equipment and System Security and New Technology; Deputy General Manager of Bishan Space Solar Power Station Base of Chongqing University. Prof. Saim Memon, Birmingham City University, UK

Prof. Saim has world-leading multidisciplinary research expertise in Electrical, Mechanical, and Renewable Energy Engineering. His specific research experiences encompass net-zero energy buildings, vacuum insulation, thermal management of electric vehicle batteries, translucent vacuum insulation panels, energy materials for vacuum insulated smart windows, , vacuum-based photovoltaic solar thermal collectors, applied semi-transparent photovoltaics and switchable films, renewable energy technologies, the rmoelectric devices for energy harvesting and smart grid integration into electric vehicles with fastcharging battery mechanisms.

Prof. Yiming Zhang, Fuzhou University, China

A national-level talent (first batch of National Overseas Outstanding Young Scholars), specially appointed “Minjiang Scholar” of Fujian Province, professor at Fuzhou University, doctoral supervisor, vice dean, and deputy director of the Fujian Key Laboratory of New Energy Power Generation and Power Conversion. Senior member of IEEE and a high-level talent of Fujian Province (Category B for overseas talents). Selected as one of Elsevier’s top 2% scientists worldwide. His main research areas include wireless power transfer technology and power electronic power conversion technology. He is the sole author of an English monograph published by Springer. In recent years, he has published over 100 papers in well-known domestic and international academic journals and international conferences, holds 8 invention patents, including 67 first-author or corresponding-author SCI papers and 51 first-author or corresponding-author EI papers, with a total of 4,703 citations and an H-index of 39. He has 8 ESI highly cited papers and 1 ESI hot paper. He has received multiple awards for outstanding conference papers from major domestic and international conferences including ECCE, EVS, EVCP, and CIEEC. He has been Principal Investigator of projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China’s Overseas Outstanding Young Scholars Project and Youth Project, Fujian Province Distinguished Young Scholars Project, Fuzhou Science and Technology Bureau’s Foreign Science and Technology Cooperation Project, Ministry of Education Industry-University Cooperation Collaborative Education Project, and university-industry cooperation projects.





Prof. Atif Iqbal, Qatar University

Atif Iqbal, Fellow IET (UK), Fellow IE (India) and Senior Member IEEE, DSc (Poland), PhD (UK)- Associate Editor IEEE Trans. on Industrial Electronics, Former Associate Editor IEEE Tran. On Industry Application, Associate Editor IEEE ACCESS, Former Editor-in-Chief, I’manager’s journal of Electrical Engineering, Full Professor at Electrical Engineering, Qatar University and Former Full Professor at Electrical Engineering, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Aligarh, India. Recipient of Outstanding Faculty Merit Award AY 2014-2015 and Research excellence award in the years 2015, 2019 and 2022 at Qatar University, Doha, Qatar. He has been employed as a Lecturer in the Department of Electrical Engineering, AMU, Aligarh since 1991 where he served as Full Professor until Aug. 2016. He is a recipient of Maulana Tufail Ahmad Gold Medal for standing first at B.Sc. Engg. Exams in 1991 from AMU. He has published widely in International Journals and Conferences his research findings related to Power Electronics and Renewable Energy Sources. Dr. Iqbal has authored/co-authored several research papers in top journals and three books and three chapters in two other books. His principal area of research interest is the Modeling and Simulation of Power Electronic Converters, energy Transition for net-zero, Control of multi-phase motor drives, Renewable Energy sources, Smart Grids, Energy security, and Electric Vehicle Drive Systems

Assistant Prof. Said Abouzeid, Aswan University, Egypt

Dr. Said Abouzeid is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Electrical Engineering Department at the Faculty of Energy Engineering, Aswan University, Egypt. Additionally, since 2023, is working as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China in Chengdu, China. Dr. Abouzeid earned his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Harbin Institute of Technology, China in 2022. His academic and professional encompasses within electrical power engineering, power system control, Grid forming and grid following converters, smart grid, renewable energy integration, cybersecurity, storage systems.

Lecturer Ahmed Lotfy Haridy, Aswan University, Egypt

Ahmed Lotfy Haridy received the B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Aswan University, Aswan, Egypt, the M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Aswan University, Aswan, Egypt. Currently, he is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Energy Engineering, Aswan University, Aswan, Egypt and also he is working toward the PH. D degree with the School of Automation Engineering, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, and the Sichuan Province Engineering Technology Research Center for Electric Vehicle Driving System and Safety, Chengdu, Sichuan 611731, His current research interests include distributed control, resilient control, and optimal operation of AC microgrids.
